Returns, Refunds & Cancellations Policy
Customer Classification
These terms apply differently depending on whether you are purchasing as:
- a Consumer (an individual acting for purposes wholly or mainly outside your trade or business); or
- a Business Customer (any customer purchasing during business, trade or profession)
If you are a Business Customer, the provisions in Section [B2B] apply and override any consumer rights.
RETURNS, REFUNDS & CANCELLATIONS POLICY (B2C)
1. Your Right to Cancel (Cooling-Off Period)
If you are purchasing as a consumer, you have the legal right to cancel your order within 14 days, without giving any reason.
The cancellation period ends 14 days after the day you receive the Goods.
To exercise your right to cancel, you must notify us by email at: sales@jctrophies.com
You must return the Goods within 14 days of informing us of cancellation.
2. Refunds Following Cancellation
If you cancel your order within the cooling-off period, we will refund:
- The full cost of the Goods
- The cost of standard delivery (if paid)
We may withhold the refund until:
- We receive the returned Goods; or
- You provide evidence of returning them
Refunds will be processed within 14 days and issued via the original payment method.
3. Return Conditions & Deductions
You must take reasonable care of the Goods while in your possession.
You may inspect the Goods as you would in a retail shop. However, we may reduce your refund if the value of the Goods is diminished due to handling beyond what is necessary.
Goods should be returned:
- In their original packaging (where possible)
- Securely packaged to prevent damage
Unless the Goods are faulty, you are responsible for the cost of returning the Goods.
Exemptions from the Right to Cancel
Under Regulation 28 of the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, the right to cancel does not apply to:
- Goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised, including:
- Engraved or personalised items
- Custom logo or centre products
- Bespoke die-cast products
- Championship belts (made to order)
5. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Goods
You must notify us within 48 hours of delivery if the Goods are:
- Faulty
- Damaged
- Incorrect
Where a fault is confirmed, you are entitled to:
- A repair or replacement; or
- A full refund
We will cover reasonable return costs for faulty or incorrect Goods, up to £11.99 (including VAT), or arrange collection.

6. Your Rights Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015
You have a 30-day right to reject faulty Goods and receive a full refund.
After 30 days, we may offer:
- Repair; or
- Replacement
If repair or replacement is not successful, you may be entitled to a refund.

- Your order number
- A description of the issue
- Photographs (where applicable)

Please ensure Goods are packaged securely to avoid damage in transit.
8. Liability
8.1 Nothing in this policy limits or excludes your statutory rights.
8.2 We do not exclude liability for:
- Death or personal injury caused by negligence
- Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
8.3 Subject to the above, we are not liable for:
- Loss of profit
- Loss of business
- Indirect or consequential loss

9.0 Business Customers (B2B Terms)
Right to Cancel
Business Customers do not have a statutory right to cancel orders once placed.
Returned Goods
Returns are accepted at the sole discretion of J.C. Trophies Ltd and must be agreed in writing.
Returned Goods must:
- Be unused and in resalable condition
- Be returned in original packaging
A restocking fee of up to 25% may be applied to all approved returns.
Customised Goods
All customised, engraved, or bespoke Goods are strictly non-returnable and non-refundable.
Faulty Goods
Business Customers must notify us of any faults or damage within 48 hours of delivery.
Our liability for faulty Goods shall be limited to:
- Replacement; or
- Refund of the purchase price
Exclusion of Consumer Rights
The Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and Consumer Rights Act 2015 do not apply to Business Customers.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- We shall not be liable for loss of profit, business, or indirect loss
- Our total liability shall not exceed the value of the Goods supplied
