IMPORTANT NOTICE:
By placing an order via the J.C. Trophies Ltd website or otherwise, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
1. Definitions and Interpretation
1.1 In these Terms and Conditions (“Conditions”):
- “Company” / “we” / “us” / “our” means J.C. Trophies Ltd (Company No. 04624621).
- “Customer” / “you” / “your” means any person, firm, or company purchasing Goods from us.
- “Contract” means any agreement for the sale and purchase of Goods formed in accordance with these Conditions.
- “Goods” / “Products” means any goods supplied by us, including any instalments or parts.
- “Price” means the price of Goods excluding VAT, delivery, engraving, artwork, custom dies, and any additional charges unless otherwise stated.
- “Delivery Date” means any date(s) provided for delivery, which are estimates only unless expressly agreed in writing.
1.2 Headings are for convenience only and shall not affect interpretation.
2. Basis of Contract
2.1 These Conditions apply to all contracts and shall prevail over any inconsistent terms submitted by the Customer.
2.2 No variation shall be binding unless agreed in writing by the Company.
2.3 An order constitutes an offer by the Customer to purchase Goods subject to these Conditions. Acceptance occurs only when we confirm the order in writing or dispatch the Goods.
3. Prices and VAT
3.1 All prices are exclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated.
3.2 Additional charges may apply, including engraving, artwork, custom dies, logo printing, delivery and packaging.
3.3 VAT (currently 20%) is applied to UK orders only.
3.4 International customers are responsible for all import duties, taxes, and customs charges.
3.5 We reserve the right to amend prices at any time prior to acceptance of an order.
4. Payment Terms
4.1 Payment must be made in full prior to dispatch unless otherwise agreed.
4.2 We accept credit/debit cards, PayPal, and BACS transfer.
4.3 We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders where payment is declined or suspected to be fraudulent.
5. Delivery
5.1 Delivery times are estimates only and not guaranteed.
5.2 We shall not be liable for delays caused by third-party couriers, incorrect delivery information, or events beyond our control.
5.3 Standard delivery is typically 5–7 working days, subject to peak periods and customisation.
5.4 Free delivery applies to orders over £200 (small items only) and excludes bulk or custom items.
5.5 Risk passes to the Customer upon delivery.
6. International Delivery
6.1 Additional charges may apply for larger shipments.
6.2 Customers must provide accurate customs information.
6.3 We are not liable for customs delays.
6.4 Customers are responsible for import duties and taxes.
7. Missed Deliveries
7.1 Customers must accept delivery.
7.2 Re-delivery charges apply if delivery is missed.
7.3 Refunds may be subject to restocking fees and deduction of costs.
8. Product Description
8.1 All descriptions and images are approximate.
8.2 We reserve the right to amend specifications.
9. Engraving
9.1 Customers are responsible for accuracy of engraving details.
9.2 We are not liable for customer errors.
9.3 Errors made by us will be corrected.
10. Artwork
10.1 Artwork remains our property until payment.
10.2 Charges apply for artwork and revisions.
10.3 Approved artwork is final.
11. Custom Products
11.1 Lead times are estimates.
11.2 We are not liable for manufacturing delays.
12. Returns
12.1 Returns accepted within 14 days if unused and resalable.
12.2 Restocking fees may apply.
12.3 Custom items are non-returnable.
13. Warranty
13.1 Damage must be reported within 48 hours.
13.2 Valid claims will be replaced or refunded.
14. Cancellations
14.1 Must be made in writing.
14.2 Charges may apply including admin fees.
15. Liability
15.1 We do not exclude liability for death, injury, or fraud.
15.2 Our liability is limited to the value of the Goods.
16. Force Majeure
We are not liable for events beyond our control.
17. Complaints
Complaints must be submitted in writing.
18. Copyright
All website content is owned by J.C. Trophies Ltd and cannot be reused without permission.
19. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
